Class Piano – not currently in session, join our waiting list for the next starting class!
Introduce your child to the joy of piano in this classroom and keyboard lab experience for small groups of children. Music learning is fun as children are invited to explore music through piano, movement, singing, instruments, and group activities. Students will be encouraged to improvise, compose, and perform through a variety of activities. A parent or caregiver will need to be available for a portion of the class to assist with tasks and assignments. No musical training is necessary for the parent. Class piano is available upon request when enough beginners are able to coordinate a time each week. Otherwise a waiting list is formed or private lessons are used.
Our son has taken piano lessons at Wirth since we moved here over 2 years ago. It was a smooth transition from his previous instructor thanks to Dr. Wirth, who made us feel so welcome, and Chris Goering, who does such a wonderful job teaching and coaching our son. We couldn’t be happier with our choice of placing him in the remarkable hands of the people at the Wirth Center for Performing Arts.
