Danielle Moriarty – youth and adult ballet
Ms. Moriarty started dancing at the age of 4 years through high school with Charleen Knorrs School of Dance, and the Stroia Ballet Company. She is a Graduate of Presentation College, a liberal arts school in Aberdeen, SD where she obtained a degree in Dance Education. She has been a member of the Cecchetti Council of America and Dance Masters. Her studio studies have been with the Gus Giordano Dance Center in Chicago, Zenon, Ballet Arts of Minnesota, Anderson’s Performing Arts, Carole Bradley Dance, and St Paul City Ballet where she had taught for two years. Her first job in teaching dance was for the Milaca Community Ed, and Aberdeen Summer Arts Program. She has choreographed a number of local pageants and musicals for the Braham Community Arts Theater. She has taught at The Wirth Center for the Performing Arts since 2009. She is the Director of C. P. Arts in Cold Spring where she offers classes through ROCORI Com. Ed.
Ms. Moriarty has instructed hundreds of dancers over the past several decades, inspiring and educating throughout central and east central Minnesota. Some of her students have since opened dance studios, teach, and have performed with companies from Minnesota to Paris. She has had a number of students attend the Perpich Arts High School of Minneapolis in which auditions were required. “What an honor it is to inspire and educate so many beautiful and talented students!”
