Dancing With Our Stars

Dr. Paul Wirth and Kathy Kampa have been chosen to dance in this year’s “Dancing With Our Stars” event. They’re dancing on behalf of the Wirth Center for the Performing Arts. This special event takes place on June 8, 2026 at the College of St. Benedict’s BAC with a social hour from 5-6:30 p.m. and the show from 7 p.m.

Why is this important?

This event is a fundraiser for both the Women’s Fund of Central Minnesota and the Wirth Center. Ninety percent of the funds raised in support of Paul and Kathy go towards the Wirth Center, with 10% supporting the Women’s Fund.

There’s also a $15,000 prize for the winning team! It’s important to know that 60% of Paul and Kathy’s score is based on fundraising totals, so every contribution helps move our school closer to winning. Our goal is to raise $50,000. And these funds will help every program in the Wirth Center!

This fundraiser benefits our Wirth Center community and our entire arts community. With our upcoming move, the Wirth Center will be an integral part of the new Community Arts Center. If you value music, dance, and visual arts for all ages in our community, support us through these fundraising initiatives.

Dine to Support

Thank you to everyone who came to the Granite City Food & Brewery on April 16, 2026. Granite City donated 20% of receipts to the Wirth Center. We raised $567.69. With the tips, it came to $611.69.

Your support makes a real impact – the proceeds will benefit the Wirth Center and the Women’s Fund. These funds help power programs like School of Rock, Early Childhood Music Play, Piano Camp, summer camps, scholarships, and music and dance classes for all ages. They will also support the Wirth Center’s move into the historic Daniel Building, a vibrant new home for the arts in our community.
