Dancing With Our Stars
Dr. Paul Wirth and Kathy Kampa were chosen to dance in this year’s “Dancing With Our Stars” event. They danced on behalf of the Wirth Center for the Performing Arts. This special event took place on June 8, 2026 at the College of St. Benedict’s BAC with a social hour followed by the show.
Dr. Paul Wirth and Kathy Kampa were declared the 1st Place Winners, plus the Judges’ Choice Winners.
Why is this important?
This event was a fundraiser for both the Women’s Fund of Central Minnesota and the Wirth Center. Ninety percent of the funds raised in support of Paul and Kathy went towards the Wirth Center, with 10% supporting the Women’s Fund.
There was also a $15,000 prize for the winning team (Dr. Paul and Kathy)! It’s important to know that 60% of Paul and Kathy’s score was based on fundraising totals, so every contribution helped move our school closer to winning. Our goal was to raise $50,000. And these funds will help every program in the Wirth Center!
This fundraiser benefits our Wirth Center community and our entire arts community. With our upcoming move, the Wirth Center will be an integral part of the new Community Arts Center. If you value music, dance, and visual arts for all ages in our community, support us through these fundraising initiatives.
