Cody Johnson – guitar, ukulele

Cody Johnson is currently the touring guitarist for Owl City and is a music director at River Valley Church. He’s been playing the guitar for 14 years and teaching for 9 of those years. He’s had a diverse range of playing experiences over his life from touring and playing around the states and overseas, music directing, playing in churches and recording for various artists. He also runs a successful YouTube channel teaching guitar styles centered around gospel and jazz. He’s passionate about and has studied many styles of music including country, jazz, gospel, rock, blues, R&B and pop. As a teacher, he has taught beginner to advanced students many styles of music and has taught all kinds of ages ranging from 5 to 70. Coming up on almost 10 years as a teacher he’s developed a greater passion then ever for helping students understand and enjoy the instrument
