Anna Bovitz – guitar, bass, ukulele

Born & raised in the St. Cloud area, Anna is a motivated and passionate musician with experience in various kinds of performances, genres, and instruments. They have been teaching guitar, bass, and ukulele at the Wirth Center since 2020, and also are the Assistant Director for the Wirth Center’s School of Rock Program. Anna’s love of music started at a young age with piano lessons, which blossomed into guitar, ukulele, bass, and keyboard. They took lessons at the Wirth Center through high school, were encouraged by their teacher to sign up for the School of Rock program, and the rest is history. Anna has found a love of music, teaching, and supporting the next generation of musicians. As a teacher, Anna really enjoys discovering how different students learn; they take time to discover the best way to teach each person. They incorporate music theory, many different genres, and an excitement for music in their lessons.
