Jam Band 101 – Ages 7-18

Want to get out and jam! Jam Band 101 is a FREE class where you can learn songs with other musicians in a rock band setting. This jam session takes place at the Wirth Center in St. Cloud. All the big equipment is provided, such as amplifiers, keyboard, drum set, microphones and PA system. Guitar and bass players need to bring their own instruments.

Each jam session is 60 minutes and consists of learning two songs from scratch. No homework required! Songs are picked by the instructors and quickly taught to participants, along with learning fundamentals, doing some listening, and making some great music while working together.

Jam Band is a fun and easy way to learn new songs and meet new young musicians.

A minimum of 1 year experience on your instrument is required

Rock Band

Are you looking to join a band? Rock Band is a program that groups student musicians together to practice and learn songs in a rock band setting. Each student will be assigned to a band based on age, experience, and musical taste. Rock Band is all about collaborating with other young musicians. We’ll learn how to work together, how to compromise on song choices, and communicate through music. We’ll also learn how to perform, and the etiquette of playing a real rock show. Each practice is held at the Wirth Center in St. Cloud in Studio #1. Drums, amps, keyboard, microphones are all provided.

Rock Band is $250 for 10 sessions including a performance at the end.

A minimum of 2 years experience on your instrument is required
